The up and rising star from the Singapore Slingers, Leon Kwek will be directing his first ever Leon Kwek Elite Skills Camp 2017 in September for young and passionate players to learn and master some of his signature moves!

Assisted by professional and well-trained trainers, this camp definitely has what it takes to help trainees improve to become better and more competent players.

With the use of professional training equipments and well-planned training schedule, trainees can grasp and pick up valuable knowledge through tough and ingenious drills and experience sharing with our professional trainers. This camp is certainly a good chance for young players with the determination and desire to hone their skills and step up to the next level in preparation for their upcoming tournaments.

With a wingspan of 6'3, Leon can reach up to a max vertical of 36 inches! Despite having an old man's game, Leon can still do what most young man can't do; dunk the ball!

About The Instructor

Scholar Basketball Academy

Scholar Basketball Academy consists of professionally trained coaches led by local basketball star Wong Wei Long. Their innovative and creative training aims to help participants from all levels and age group train towards their best ability.


SBA was borne from the belief of using hard work and self-discipline to become a good sportsman. They believe that it is important to cement an individual’s fundamental skills through practical yet innovative workouts in order to be a better basketball player.


At the helm is Wong Wei Long, current Singapore Slingers player, proud member of the Singapore National Team and 2-time back to back Most Valuable Player in the ASEAN Basketball League and the First Singaporean to win the Most Valuable Player award in the international competition. The trainers in SBA are all current or past players in the Singapore National Basketball Teams and the Singapore Slingers.


Leveraging on the vast experience that their trainers gathered in their international competitions, SBA's professional training programs are tailored to simulate competition-like situations that may occur during a real basketball game so as to prepare trainees in a realistic manner. Through a large variety of drills and skills-specific trainings, SBA aims to assist their trainees in becoming an international player and perform to the best of their ability. The principles of teamwork, discipline, dedication, and sportsmanship are instilled in them through the trainings. These are not only applicable on the basketball court, but also in life. SBA greatly believes that a skilfull individual brings value to the game, but a great character IMPACTS the world.
